Works wonderfully. I've had complex expensive openers and this tops them all. I have not yet tried it on an older bottle where the cork is in question but I expect that is where it will shine. Pulling the cork off the plunger requires coordination and is more entertaining than a problem.

I was suspicious about these because Facebook ads can lead to some very unsavory items but tossed caution to the wind an ordered them anyway. These are; 1) Easy to use, just stretch and poof, covered. 2) Had no weird smell like many plastic items tend to. 3) Made it possible to actually find the right lid to go with the same container! 4) Easy to wash off and reuse time and time again. 5) A chance to organize my cluttered container cupboard. On the fense about ordering? Jump on in the water is fine!

Performs as well as I saw on company’s site. Everyone enjoyed opening the bottles at my party. The brushed finish looks very nice on my sideboard in the dining room.
